Hi there!  My name is Susie Cordeiro.

I started Susie’s Selections Consignment Shop almost 10 years ago.

I love mixing vintage with today’s decor.  I also love shopping for good value.  That means I don’t buy things because they are cheap.   The old saying says, “You get what you pay for”.   I like to shop for quality items at a discount price.

I married my high school sweetheart almost 30 years ago.

I am Mom to 5 great kids and Ma to my granddaughter.

The purpose of my blog is to give parenting tips and encouragement.

Parenting is a strenuous JOB.  Yes, it’s a JOB.

Parents are the CEO’s of their family.   You have to schedule, plan and budget just like the CEO of a corporation.  The difference is the CEO of a corporation has many workers to help.   A parent usually doesn’t.

I don’t want to paint a bleak picture of parenting.

You have your GREAT days and bad days and lots of days in-between.

I hope this blog will remind you how rewarding it is.
