Happy Valentine’s Day !
Posted by: | CommentsI made a stop at Walgreen’s to get a card for my sweetie. The aisle was crowded with dads and their kids picking out a card for mom, how sweet.
In the next aisle was a Mom and her daughter deciding between Princess cards or Justin Bieber!
Then it hit me – I’m getting old! I don’t have to buy cards for my son’s class. This is the first time in 20 years I don’t have to write 25 names on little envelopes!
I went back to the card aisle and started to read the cards. This could take an hour because I love to read every one! I picked a funny one and a bag of raspberry chocolate truffles, his favorite.
I love my man. Hope you have a great day!
Why did I start a Consignment Shop?
Posted by: | CommentsI get this question a lot.
I remember when I was around 11 years old, my mother would make my clothes. With 6 kids to feed and clothe it was the cheapest way. Then one day my cousins were cleaning out their closets. My aunt brought over a big trash bag full of clothes my size. Could we use them?
I was in heaven. I spent the day trying on outfits and parading in front of the mirror. I had so much fun! And thus began my love of clothes!
Shopping at “real” stores is ok, but shopping at Consignment Shops is more of a treasure hunt! There’s the thrill you get when you score the perfect jeans. Or a top that would cost $30 but you get it for $8. Sweeeet!
Girls just love to shop – why not shop smart!
